All Inclusive Caribbean Vacations... Which
One Is Right For You?
Ok, now that you've decided to try an all-inclusive
family vacation, you might be asking where do I go?
Off the top of my head I recommend the Caribbean
with destinations, like Jamaica, the Bahamas and
Puerto Rico.
Here's a short list of hotels offering all inclusive
plans.
This, by no means, covers every destination or
resort. There are many more fine destination and
resorts to choose from.
Alphabetically, you might try the Westin Aruba or
the Riu Palace while in Aruba or, if thinking
Bahamas look into packages by Beaches Resorts or
Club Med. Further South, consider Dominican Republic
offerings like Allegro Punta Cana, Coral Canoa, or
the Wyndham. Jamaica has many great inclusive
packages; try the Grand Lido Braco Resort, Breezes
Runaway Bay or the Couples Negril. Puerto Rico
is an beautiful island. Consider Paradisas Resorts
or Copa Marina. Forty miles east you'll find the U S
Virgin Islands and the Wyndham Sugar Bay. All great
loacations with something for everyone.
Want a change from the Caribbean? Try Canada's North
West region. British Columbia is absolutely
stunning.
When researching destinations, try using one of the
major search engines like Google, Yahoo, or MSN. If
you are a scuba diver or want to spend a week
fishing, type fishing (sailing, diving, kayaking,
etc.)all inclusive vacation and you'll see lots of
results for those particular search terms.
Let's cover one additional subject that may be on
your mind... tipping. Do I have to tip at an
all-inclusive resort? If so, how much? My answer is
this... some properties forbid tipping, but general
guidelines say tipping is not required at
all-inclusive resorts. It's almost always included
in the total cost of the vacation. However,
employees working activities like water sports or
excursions that are not included in your
all-inclusive package are usually tipped. Baggage
handlers, tour guides, golf caddies, etc., are also
customarily tipped. Feel free to ask your travel
counselor concerning questions about whether tips
are, or are not suggested. How much do you tip? Use
the same general guidelines you practice at home.
Ready to go? Just remember that careful planning is
the key to a great all inclusive vacations for your
family. First dedicate some quality time to research
and then pick your destination. Hopefully some of
the destinations I mentioned above will trigger
you're curiosity and make your planning easier.
Here are a few more Caribbean destination ideas:
Barbados, St. Kitts, St. Martin, St. Lucia, Panama,
Belize, Mexico and the Turks and Caicos. Well known
resorts like Sandals, Beaches, Radisson, and Wyndham
are all great choices, and I can pretty much
guarantee that an all inclusive vacation in the
Caribbean will be an adventure your family will
remember for a long time.
I hope I've answered the question... "All inclusive
vacations- are they worth your time and money?"
I recommend giving your family the opportunity to
experience one of the very best options for a family
vacation; the all inclusive family vacation. Watch
for some of the vacation specials in your local
Sunday paper, or simply type "caribbean all
inclusive vacations" into your favorite search
engine and you'll find all the information you need
to make a great decision for your next family
vacation.
